Tree Growing Initiative in Sitio Mapita, Aguilar, Pangasinan

Our Tree Growing Activity held last July 12–13, 2025 in Brgy. Laoag, Sitio Mapita, Aguilar, Pangasinan was another beautiful reminder of how much can be achieved when people step forward with purpose and unity. The journey to the planting site was long and steep, but the volunteers walked with steady determination, carrying seedlings with care as they made their way up the hills.

The photos show the essence of the day. Volunteers kneeling in the grass, digging patiently into the earth, and planting each seedling with quiet intention. Groups standing proudly behind the banner, smiling despite the heat, the distance, and the climb. Even the simple snapshots, the greenery stretching endlessly around them, the blue sky overhead, and the seedlings gathered at the foot of a tree, capture the story of a community choosing to give back to nature.

Working together with DENR/CENRO Dagupan City added both guidance and strength to the activity. Their presence helped ensure that every plant placed into the soil was set to grow in the right place, in the right way. Our volunteers, on the other hand, brought heart and energy, showing that environmental stewardship isn’t just a project but a commitment we live out with our hands and our time.

This wasn’t just a planting activity; it was a reminder that growth is a shared responsibility. As we planted each seedling, it felt like planting hope for future generations. The quote on the banner says, “What you sow will bear fruit.” And that is exactly what this activity represents: the belief that the seeds we plant today, whether trees, kindness, or environmental action, will grow into something meaningful tomorrow.

Mistah Foundation USA remains committed to serving God, people, nature, and country. Through days like this, we are reminded that every simple act of planting can shape a greener, stronger future. These seedlings in Sitio Mapita will one day grow into trees that stand as proof of the hands that worked hard, climbed high, and planted with love.
