To Go Back is to Look Ahead

For today’s school children and with the existing teaching programme, an accessible computer can be a very essential educational tool. And it is highly advised to at least have one to start with.

This helps them keep up with the advancement of information needed in terms of academic requisites as well as the development of their literacy skills and technological operation. With access to this type of tool, children are engaged in their own educations to learn something new, to share with one another and  create together.

In keeping up with Mistah Foundation’s practice of helping good people build their dreams, we decided to give back where it all started.

Malued Elementary School is one of those few that has a very special place in my heart. This is where I graduated from my primary education years and I sure am proud to be an alumni of this great institution. I have a handful of special memories with them that I hold dearly and I intend to do so in my lifetime.

During my visit last June 30 at the old familiar school grounds of my alma mater, I was blessed to hand out a relatively special gift to  where I came from. Madam Ligaya Tiu along with Sir Mario Claveria warmly accepted an TOSHIBA laptop unit wrapped with heartfelt gratefulness and sealed with strong hope on behalf of Malued Elementary School. We were also accompanied by the cooperative Brgy. Chairman of Malued District and his officials.

We hope that this on-going project, in the long run,  translates into a substantial impact on the quality of life of our recipients towards a brighter future.
