The Green Act Lives On

With the holiday season fast approaching our ever busy lives, following things up wouldn’t hinder our celebration means and ways especially if we’re pausing for a brief moment to gather around our collective commitment in another step to the right direction.

And that direction is going and moving forward. Into the future. Tomorrowland.

A small but impactful step has been taken last November 21 when once again, we recognized the need to do something bigger than the rest of us. One convenient way to be appreciative of the things we, as mankind, greatly benefit from nature is to perhaps arrange a program intended to grease the gears of environmentalism.

And that’s exactly what we did at Mistah Foundation.

Green-Act-2

Together up in arms with the logistical expertise of PNP Aguilar and the ground support of Saguep Organization, our friends and volunteers wore their green hats, hit the dirt and went out to our recent ‘Tree Planting Activity and Environmental Cleanup Drive’ effort in Aguilar, Pangasinan where more than 350 Mahogany and Coconut seedlings got planted around the area. Those young plants will now grow there and will blossom as sturdy trees for years to come that will provide shade under the heat of the sun; sufficient oxygen supply and clean air for living things around them and will definitely help absorb and ease off excessive rainwater to prevent floods and landslides. They will be nurtured by the grace of heavens. Human initiatives, conscious efforts, protection and assistance could help, too.

Simple actions being done by ordinary people. Its not that hard. More importantly if multiple souls are involved. A good deed by some good people will produce good results.

And we’re not done yet. Mistah Foundation will continue to thrive doing meaningful activities and embarking purposeful undertakings. We strongly believe that we need more steps like this to make a greener that will eventually lead to a green world for our children to appreciate as well.

We don’t want to deprive them of that privilege, right? It is our obligation to do so. Now — more than ever.
