On February 3, 2023, a momentous event unfolded at Brgy. Calsib Elementary School in Aguilar, Pangasinan, as the Maharlikan Tiger’s International Fraternity and Sorority, Knight Warriors Rider Club (KWRC), and Mistah Foundation joined forces for a noble cause. With the aim of improving the learning environment for the students, this collaborative effort focused on the rehabilitation of the school’s facilities. This highlights the noteworthy activities and achievements of this remarkable school rehabilitation program.

Prior to the event, it was identified that 90% of the classrooms at Brgy. Calsib Elementary School were in poor condition, hindering the students’ ability to learn effectively. In response, Mistah Foundation dedicated themselves to a significant rehabilitation project that spanned six months. The efforts resulted in the construction of four and a half new classrooms, symbolizing the transformative impact that could be achieved through collective action.

The event commenced at 1 pm, where the students from kindergarten to Grade 6 warmly greeted the participants by showcasing their talents through singing and dancing the traditional tinikling. The presence of the school’s Principal, Teachers, and Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Officers underscored the importance and support for the rehabilitation efforts.

A significant moment occurred as the founder of the Mistah Foundation, Sir Richard, together with the principal of Calsib Elementary School, conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony. This symbolic gesture marked the official unveiling of the rehabilitated classrooms, signifying a fresh chapter for the students and their educational journey.

To celebrate the occasion and engage the students in an interactive manner, various activities were organized. A singing contest was held, allowing the students to showcase their vocal talents and artistic abilities. Additionally, an educational contest took place, focusing on subjects such as Math, Social Studies, and History. Winners of the contest were rewarded with cash prizes, acknowledging their achievements and motivating them to excel academically.

Beyond the physical rehabilitation, the event fostered a sense of camaraderie, cultural appreciation, and educational engagement among the participants and the students. The singing contest and educational contest not only showcased the students’ talents but also promoted a love for learning and academic excellence.

This school rehabilitation program serves as a shining example of how organizations and individuals can come together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. By investing in education and creating conducive learning environments, Mistah Foundation with the help of Maharlikan Tiger’s International Fraternity and Sorority, and Knight Warriors Rider Club have undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the students and the community of Brgy. Calsib, inspiring them to pursue their dreams with renewed enthusiasm and confidence.
