Time and time again, we intend to emphasize on the sole purpose of having quick access on tools that coincides with the technological advancement one could hope for — convenience.

There is a glaring need for each and every Filipino in our society to, whether we like it or not, adapt to this development as we go through the daily motions and sequences of living in a multi-tasking, very fast paced world today. Technology is everywhere. The population is growing. The dynamics of supply and demand formula is at its greatest peak ever. And the on-going trend will be there for many years to come.

As an emerging nation in terms of economic investments and sustainability, possessing computer literacy is one of, if not the most important facet its people has to assimilate and familiarize ourselves with to further its progression. The floodgates of opportunity for employment seekers will be open for a long while as long as we’re armed with the capabilities and skills the role requires us. Thus, datas proved its point that technology is a guaranteed income generating industry so expect that it will stay that way for now.

Dedication-2

Moving forward, Mistah Foundation does not only recognizes the insufficiency around us. Hence, we don’t want to point fingers to anyone or anybody. We act on it together. We don’t just sit here and wait for things to happen. We do something about it by contributing to the best of our abilities as band of brothers that look after one another.

Come to think of it. Imagine the ordeal of travelling  over 7 kilometers of hillside trekking, crossing several rivers and streams along actual forest paths for more than 2 1/2 hours just to reach the town proper and beat the deadlines of submission of day-to-day updates and daily reports of lesson plans every single God-given day. Some might say their routine is impractical but to them, its the most practical and most convenient way possible of dealing with it. And mind you most of them are women.

Now, what will they get themselves into if its rainy season and all of their students relies on them to get to know if there’s an announcement of class suspensions from the Local Government Unit or the DepEd Regional Superintendent?

Admirable indeed. Inspirational, yup.

Misery? Sort of but that’s all part of the job, they might say. These public servants are still doing it just to fulfill what they’ve signed up for. 100% Genuine Authentic Hardwork and Dedication.

They are none other than the reputable educators and teachers of Sioasio East Elementary School. We, at Mistah Foundation, have noticed what they sorely need and gladly enough, we are more than honored and pleasured to have provided for their exemplary endeavors. The computer laptops we brought in came like an early Christmas present-dream come true all in one to them. And they certainly most deserved it.

Going over there and visiting our kababayans will always be a worthwhile experience for us at Mistah Foundation. We learn to appreciate the blessings given to us likewise bring forth at least a glimmer of hope to them. Give more and take less. Reciprocate. And we intend to keep the fire burning..

Note: A one-way tricycle ‘special fare’ would cost them P200/trip. Make it P400 back and forth per head. Then multiply it by, lets say, 20 days (5 days a week of school days) for a month. Now the product would cost them about 43% of their monthly salary in reference to the present minimum pay for public teachers (P18,549.00*)
