“Do you get paid doing it?”, someone asked. “How much do you get for volunteering?”, another guy asked.

We dont get paid for this. And we dont intend to ask any payment for this. The spirit of volunteerism is engraved among our outreach group, because deeply in our hearts and soul, we believe that it is our moral obligation to contribute to the community in any way possible — small things or big endeavours. As we’ve observed the kind of society we’re living in and the variety of culture we have in place for every regions in this country, it is high time efforts like this should be undertaken more often. Why? Because that is our purpose in this world why we’re here afterall. To make a difference and make something happen.

You see, the life we have here is not permanent. This is all temporary, on interim basis. For all we know we’re living in a chain — where our lives our entangled, stemmed and influential to one another. Every decisions that we make now, somehow, one way or another, will affect someone, somewhere, someday. It could be our family or our relatives. Our circle of friends and our social network. The people we meet everyday, they all have purpose. So basically, if you’re going to do something, anything, it better be for a greater good and much more meaningful rather than doing silly stuffs or driven by poor decision makings. Just imagine the impact of every single actions we went for or planning to go for..

And just like the old times, Mistah Foundation underwent a familiar activity for the residents of Barangay Caoayan in Sual, Pangasinan. Over a thousand seedlings got planted and was turnovered back to Mother Earth to flourish for years to come. It was a 2-day friendly affair led by Mistah Foundation Founding President Richard Gubatan with the help of PNP Sual, the Navy Reserves of Bonuan and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

No fuss. No pay. No demands.

That is how we do it.

Volunteering pay? No need for it. If you’re a willing donor and wanted to give back as well, we can accomodate your generousity and accept your heartfelt donations to add to the fund of purchasing school supplies for students, buying seedlings for our tree planting activities and mini snacks for our event volunteers. Your benevolent gesture can go a long way and will surely benefit someone in need. You can count on that.

Who needs a pay for doing this? Forget about it and start joining us in leaving our imprint and legacy for our children.

To infinity and beyond!
