The MISTAH Foundation USA sponsored an activity to the three selected schools in the West Coast of Coron, Palawan. Wherein the students has no comfortable and enough classrooms that they may able to use in studying. Most of the residences of the said place are native and came from tribe. The foundation selected them because of their economic status and location. The team was also conducted an activity in other barangays in Coron, Palawan to give their cooperation to the different activities. The President of Mistah Foundation Richard T. Gubatan PN(Res) a sponsored of construction supplies and laptop to three selected schools, as a beneficiary of this activity. The team is composed of Mistah Foundation as a principal sponsor tie up with NRCW, NFRW, LGU and Philippine Army.

 

The Mistah Foundation sponsored one of the school in the West Coast Of Coron, Palawan namely Bayang Elementary School at Brgy. Turda, Coron, Palawan.

     

On 30 August 2017, the team proceeded to Bayang Elementary School at Brgy. Turda Coron, Palawan for the second time with 2 ½ hours of travel by boat due to a big waves. The school has only 4 rooms that are not comfortable for the students because of the unfinished construction. They also have only 4 teachers that are assigned on that area with 157 students. Due to unfinished constructions, the Mistah Foundation sponsored 30 sacks of cements and 3 rolls of sawali for the finishing of classrooms and the Philippine Navy Reservists serves as the manpower for the continuation of construction. It was a big help for the beneficiaries because there’s now an additional classroom that they might use during their classes.

The Mistah Foundation conducted a Tree Planting Activity at Brgy. Guadalupe Elementary School in Coron, Palawan with the joint coordination of DILG, DENR, LGU Coron and 411st Naval Group Reserve Squadron PN(Res).

     

On 1 Sept 2017, the team proceeded to Brgy. Guadalupe Elementary School in Coron, Palawan with 1 hour land travel, riding with Mahindra. The team experienced the rough road while travelling because of the ongoing construction of the road. The Mistah Foundation conducted a Tree Planting Activity wherein the team has 300 assorted seedlings which composed of narra, ipil-ipil, mahogany, manggeum and paper tree. The foundation has the objective to help and maintain the nature through this activity with the joint coordination of DILG, DENR, LGU Coron, Teachers and Students of the said school and 411st Naval Group Reserve Squadron PN(Res). It is a pleasure of the team to help and to unite with different agency of Coron, Palawan in pursuing the Go

Green Project.

The Mistah Foundation cooperated in the conduct of Universal Coastal Clean-Up Drive at Brgy. Poblacion 3 in Coron, Palawan with the joint coordination of LGU Coron and 411st Naval Group Reserve Squadron PN(Res).

     

On 23 Sept 2017, the team proceeded to Brgy. Poblacion 3 in Coron, Palawan cooperated in the conduct of Universal Coastal Clean-Up Drive with the joint coordination of LGU Coron and 411st Naval Group Reserve Squadron PN(Res). This activity aims to help in maintaining the cleanliness of the coastal area of Coron, Palawan.

The Mistah Foundation conducted a Tree Planting Activity At YKR in Coron, Palawan with the joint coordination of DENR and 411st Naval Group Reserve Squadron PN(Res).

     

On 24 Sept 2017, the team proceeded to YKR in Coron Palawan with 2 hours travel by land. The foundation conducted a Tree Planting Activity with 300 assorted seedlings with the joint coordination of DENR and 411st Naval Group Reserve Squadron PN(Res). This activity aims to help in maintaining the nature of Coron, Palawan.

The Mistah Foundation sponsored one of the school in the West Coast of Coron, Palawan namely Camanga Elementary School in Coron, Palawan.

     

On 22 Oct 2017, the team proceeded to Camanga Elementary School with 1 hour travel from the town to Brgy. San Jose Coron, Palawan, riding the service of Philippine Army and 2 ½ hours travel by boat due to a big waves. When the team got there, the people welcome them and invited for a lunch. The team observed that their school was already old because of it’s appearance and the said school was built from second hand materials. The foundation sponsored good lumbers for the construction of 2 classrooms and 1 laptop that they may use for their studies. All the beneficiaries of the said program were so thankful and happy for everything that the foundation helped to them. The team saw the happiness and courage in their eyes that they will pursue their dreams no matter what poverty brings to them.

The activity of the foundation became successful with the leadership of Richard T Gubatan PN(Res), the volunteers from different sector as manpower and support for this novel activity. The cooperation of different authorities as well as the people during the activity builds a very remarkable yet important impact to our youth as their pursue education no matter how far and hard for them to finish what they dreaming of in the future to be a better citizen.The said activity aims to reach out all the people who are in need when it comes to camaraderie and cooperation signifies this organization by terms of sharing blessings to others and to help also the Municipality of Coron, Palawan.
