This type of training covers disaster preparedness and rescue in order to teach individuals how to act constructively when hazard threats are in effect. Topics include hazard prediction and monitoring, preparedness planning, public information and education, emergency exercise and training, emergency communications system, warning systems, evacuation plans and resource inventories. Everyone must be ready because no one can be too safe when it comes to unforeseen, life-threatening circumstances.
