With an aim of uplifting the environmental life of Filipino people, Mistah was not contented in coastal cleanup drive held on October 9. Mistah once more reorganize a two-day coastal cleanup campaign for bringing back to the Dagupeno, the essence of cleaning the environment for the sake of people who live there. The two-day cleanup drive was joined by the volunteer organizations and individual who have flame in their hearts in keeping not just our environment but also bodies of water clean and beautiful.

The cleanup operations were conducted once more in Barangay Bonuan Binloc, Dagupan City on Monday and Tuesday, October 22-23, 2022.

It was participated by more individuals than on previous clean up drive

The said two-day cleanup drive was joined by men and women of Maharlikan Tiger’s International, the Knight Warriors Rider Club, Dagupan City-PNP, and other respectable organizations.

Morning prayer sparked the cleanup drive campaign. And while waiting for the other volunteers, others began to share their meaningful experience in participating in an event like this. You can hear their laughter, see their smiles, and feel their sympathy for our mother earth and for the Filipino people.

Trash and other debris, such as bottles, driftwood, assorted metal, plastic caps, sachets of product packaging, and many other items were collected by volunteers. It is disheartening to learn that they have collected more trash than usual in less than a week since the October 9 cleanup drive conducted also by Mistah Foundation along with collaboration and partnership with different organizations.

“We did clean-up operation here last October 9, but we collected even more trash today, we really need a discipline here. We also need information drive campaign here to educate our people of what risks we can get if we continue to ignore keeping our environment clean and continue polluting our seas”, volunteer said.

A volunteer said, “Through volunteerism, this campaign aims to help clean our seas and oceans while emphasizing their life-giving importance to humans”

The two-day clean-up campaign was a success. All of the volunteers’ tiredness was replaced by satisfaction as they saw the coastal area clean and beautiful.

For more than a year, Mistah has galvanized communities nationwide to collect trash that pollutes waterways, making coasts cleaner and water healthier.

Mistah has become a beacon of hope, leading and inspiring action in support of bodies of water.

The two-day cleanup drive was made possible by the various organizations that have continued to support Mistah Foundation’s initiative to provide a better environmental life for Filipinos.
