On December 12, 2020, MISTAH Foundation USA participated in the conduct of Feeding and Gift-giving Activity at Sitio Limunsudan, Brgy Rogongon, Iligan City. The activity was spearheaded by 4th Cavalry Company, Armor Division, Philippine Army and was participated by different organizations such as Soriano Foundation, Misamis Oriental Pharmacies Association, Gabriele’s Catering, JCI Bai Lawanen, Ms.Amy Rose Amado, and of course MISTAH Foundation. Packed meals and gift packs were distributed house-to-house in order to observe health protocol of “no mass gathering” and benefited a total of three hundred fifteen (315) Higaonon children. The gift packs include toys, school supplies, candies, noodles, and assorted goods. While, facemasks and assorted clothes were given to the Tribal Council of Sitio Limunsudan.
After the outreach activity, the group took the chance to visit Limunsudan-Bayug Falls, a two-tiered waterfalls and considered as the second highest waterfalls in the country. It was a stunning view of nature, surrounded by green forest.
It is indeed a wonderful experience for the group to bring happiness to the Indigenous People especially the children in the far flung area.
