On 10th of May 2019, President and Founder of Mistah Foundation (USA), Col. Richard T. Gubatan Sr., (in camouflage uniform, bottom photo) went on a trip to the breathtaking island of Calauit accompanied by his fellow ka-Mistahs. The journey from the hotelCol. Gubatan had checked-in on the main island of Palawan, was an hour drive to Busuanga, and a 15minute boat ride to reach the island. There he met again Chieftain “Apo Fidel” (one withsunglasses, bottom photo) whom he had befriended due to his numerous trips in the sanctuary.Col. Gubatan’s intention for making a trip to the island again was to hand outthe 2 new laptops, which was donated for the municipality’s use for documentation and emergency necessities. The smile plastered on their faces, and their incessant gratitude were enough to make our heart’s swell.
